About Us

The White Heather has been undertaking weddings and events in its current form since 1997, current owners Mr Jonathan Ellis and Mrs Amy Ellis have worked at the White Heather since 1997 and owned the business since 2008.  Over the last 9 years they have developed the Wedding and Event side of the business further and also refurbished a lot of the facilities and grounds. Going in to their 10th year we are developing further an new outside area along the Marquee and also adding lighting to the trees around the Wedding Shed and Ponds.

We are a family friendly and dedicated venue, Mr and Mrs Ellis work throughout from first point of contact to running and providing your special day.  We are proud of the personal service we provide and run every event as though its our own.

The White Heather undertakes over 60 weddings each year and a host of private events and conferences.

Amy runs all aspects of front of house, wedding coordination and master of ceremonies, whilst Jonathan runs the kitchen and back of house making your day as perfect as we can working with you from first point of contact through to when you retire at the end of your special day.

With our fantastic team of senior staff we will ensure your event is catered for your way and runs smoothly.

The White Heather is a private and exclusive venue, when you book the White Heather it is completely private to your wedding or event.

The White Heather has plenty of onsite parking and also has acres of wonderful grounds and seating areas for photographs and for your guests to relax within.

We are truly the "Regions best kept secret" and you must to come and visit us for a look around the facilities as when you do you will fall in love with our familily friendly, picturesque, wonderful venue.
